La Roca Team rentre dans l'histoire
l'AS Monaco Basket a battu Villeurbanne (95-91) en finale de la Leaders Cup dimanche à Disneyland Paris. Déjà sacrée en 2016, la Roca Team a conservé son titre. Jamais aucune équipe du basket français n'avait réussi cet exploit. Les joueurs du coach Zvezdan Mitrovic ont sorti un match de très haut niveau pour dominer Villeurbanne. Le shooteur ukrainien Sergii Gladyr, auteur d'un festival d'adresse dans le moment décisif, a été élu meilleur joueur (MVP) de cette finale. En 1/4 de finale, Monaco avait battu Gravelines (90-85) avant d'éliminer  Nanterre en demi-finale (81-76)
